He’s one of the most respected and in-demand multi-session Musicians and arrangers in London, and has collaborated with a list of noted songwriter’s and artist’s such as, The Backstreet Boys, Mary J Blidge, James Morrison, Craig David, Buika, Shawn Mendes, Eric Bibb, James Blunt, Ron Sexsmith to name a few.

Glen Scott possesses the spirit and unfettered passion of a quintessential artist. His stylistic fusion of poetic, thought provoking, and optimistic lyrics, backed by hybridized genres of retro and modern music, harkens comparison to such inspirational influence’s such as Prince, The Beach Boys, Steely Dan, Peter Gabriel, and Funkedelic (interestingly “One Nation Under a Groove” was the first album Scott and his brother bought as boy’s at a junk store in S.London).

Scott’s spiritual upbringing and his commitment to preserving the great tradition and culture of real music and musicianship, has provided the motivation to fortify his artistry over the years.

4 albums and 1 EP as a solo artist, which started with his debut album WITHOUT VERTIGO, released by Sony Music/550 in 1998.

The title track (among other songs from the album) appeared on the soundtrack of the Laurence Fishburne movie, ONCE IN MY LIFE. It was also featured in the hit TV series, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER (1998) and film, AFTER SEX (starring Brooke Shields in 2000).

Other releases have included, DEAFENING SILENCE, (Sony/550/Sodarock, 2000) DO SOMETHING, (EP, Sony Japan, 2004) and SOULRIDER (Sony Japan, 2004),TRUST THE DAWN EXTENDED (Sony Music JP 2009), TRUST THE DAWN (Hidden Beach Recordings LLC).(2010) Currently a part of the Kensal Town Studio’s Collective and West Eight/Universal Music Publishing Scott is preparing to release several new musical concepts and artist’s as well as a new album of his own in 2016 and beyond.
